Exciting updates to our
Healthy Rewards Program!
As a member, you can earn a wide range of exclusive rewards through our Healthy Rewards Program! There will be some exciting changes beginning September 1, including some rewards increasing from $25 to $50.
Members will now get a $50 reward card when you:
- Complete recommended prenatal and postpartum visits.
- Get a flu vaccine for a child ages 0 to 2.
- Complete a yearly checkup if you are ages 16 to 21.
- Complete a diabetic eye exam (retinal or dilated) if you are age 18 or older.
- Get screened for cervical cancer if you are a STAR member ages 21 to 64 and are not pregnant.
As a reminder, rewards can only be redeemed for healthy actions taken during the eligible reward year. You can easily redeem these rewards and more through the Texas Children’s® MyChart app. Visit healthyrewardsprogram.org to read more about all the exciting rewards we offer!

Stay Connected to Your Coverage Information 24/7
Whether you’re at home, at work, or waiting at your child’s appointment, the Texas Children’s® MyChart app makes it easy for you to connect to your health coverage 24/7!
Simply download the app to your phone or tablet, or log in from your computer. On MyChart, you can review your plan information, update your Primary Care Provider (PCP), request a new Member ID card, and track and redeem rewards from the Healthy Rewards Program.

Supporting Your Teen’s Health Journey
The teen years go by fast and bring many changes. This is a great time to help your teen build a healthy lifestyle. Talk with them about protecting their sexual health and making safe, healthy choices as they grow.
As sexually transmitted infections (STIs) continue to rise in Texas, teaching your teen about safe sex practices, the types of STIs and their risks, and how to prevent them is important.
Health experts strongly encourage STI screenings as early as age 16 to help find infections and make sure they get treatment, if needed.

Renew Your Health Coverage: We’re Here to Help!
Renewing your Medicaid or CHIP coverage is one of the best ways to continue getting the care and services you need to stay healthy.
When you receive your renewal notice from the Texas Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC), be sure to take action to keep your coverage. You can renew your coverage online by logging in to your account at YourTexasBenefits.com.

Programa Healthy Rewards!
Como miembro, puedes recibir una amplia variedad de recompensas exclusivas a través de nuestro Programa Healthy Rewards. A partir del 1 de septiembre notarás cambios interesantes, incluyendo el aumento del valor de algunas recompensas de $25 a $50.
Ahora, nuestros miembros recibirán una tarjeta de recompensa de $50 cuando:

Apoya a tu hijo adolescente en el cuidado de su salud
La adolescencia pasa rápido y trae consigo muchos cambios. Es una etapa ideal para ayudar a tu hijo a adoptar un estilo de vida saludable. Habla con él sobre cómo proteger su salud sexual y tomar decisiones seguras y saludables a medida que crece.
Dado que las infecciones de transmisión sexual (ITS) siguen aumentando en Texas, es importante enseñar a tu hijo adolescente sobre prácticas sexuales seguras, los tipos de ITS y sus riesgos, así como la forma de prevenirlas.
Los expertos en salud recomiendan realizarse pruebas de detección de ITS a partir de los 16 años para identificar infecciones y asegurar que reciban tratamiento si es necesario.
